A-ha (stylized as a-ha) is a highly influential Norwegian pop band formed in Oslo in 1982. Its founding members are Morten Harket (vocals), Magne „Mags” Furuholmen (keyboards), and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitars). The band mainly worked in the synthpop and new wave genres. They rose to fame in the mid-1980s after being discovered by musician and producer John Ratcliff, and remained popular internationally throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
